Introduction

K.H.B Enviroment Patrol Boat is a steel hull with Aluminum Alloy deck house to perform the antipollution surveilant job in Kaohsiung port and nearby sea area. It also can clean up oil slick when necessary. The boat is twin screw, twin rudder with the maximum speed of 17 knots. The hull design is displacement type with high stable performance at high sea.

Dispersant spray systems

The boat is equipped with suction pipes which are removable and can be directly put into the dispersant tanks (tanks are owner supply) to suck the dispersant. Though dispersant pump ( pump to be installed in the engine room, there is a adjustable valve to be installed before inlet to adjust flow rate ) to pump the dispersant to two spray boom, each one at port side and starboard side, the dispersant are sprayed by mist on the polluted sea. There are two connector to connect two hand held spray boom which to be used in the narrow water.

Disc Skimmer

Aqua-Guard Rotating Disc Skimmers rely on adhesion of oil to the surface of a rotating disc. As the disc rotates through the oil/water surface the oil adheres to the surface and is removed by a scraper. The product is collected in a common sump and pumped away. Aqua-Guard offers a drum or brush attachment that can replace the disc in 1 minute for light oil recovery.
