15M Pilot Boat

The 15M Pilot Launches constructed with FRP sandwich construction hull and deckhouse, 15.0 meters in length, 4.5 meters in breadth and runs at a maximum speed of 26 knots driven by two (2) sets MAN D2896LE403 diesel engines with fixed pitch propellers, the engine power is 450 Ps each. The Launch is suitable for operations within Singapore Port Limits and up to thirty (30) miles off Singapore Port Limits and to operate twenty four hours a day all year round.

All the design and construction are complied with rules and requirements of DNV with notation: +1A1, HSLC, R3, CREW.
The hull structure and deckhouse of the Launch is FRP Sandwich construction. All material used are of a type approved by the Classification Society for marine use.

All living spaces and wheelhouse are designed to be air-conditioned to offer a good quality working condition. Wheelhouse is designed to accommodate 2 crews with steering console. Passenger cabin with 8 damper seats is located behind the wheelhouse. The crew cabin is located below the upper deck with necessary lockers, sofa, and toilet and gallery facilities.

The major navigation and radio facilities include Electronic Navigation Chart Display, GPS, Siren and VHF, EPIRB, and AIS.
The Vessels are finished and delivered to PSA Marine in December 2007 and joined the piloting operation service in Singapore water area. |
