The ultra high speed patrol boat constructed with high strength GRP is 13.9 meters in length, 3.7 meters in breadth and runs at a maximum speed of 48.7 knots driven by two (2) MAN D2876LE423 diesel engines with two (2) Kamawa FF375s waterjets, the engine power is 800PS each. The boat is finished and delivered to Chinese Army in June 2008 and joined the service.

To suit the high wind and sea condition in winter, the hull form of the boat is with high deadrise angle and with 6 damping strips below the water line. The boat has good resistance performance especially in high speed and is also verified by model tank testing.

The boat is divided into 4 watertight compartments, fore peak, void, fuel oil tank, and engine room with waterjets. All watertight compartments are filled with PU foam to achieve high anti-flooding ability.

The structure strength design is complied with rules of high speed boat of China Shipping Register. The design standard is to resist vertical velocity of 3.5g at gravity position of the boat. The side shell of the boat is single skin construction and the deck and watertight bulkheads are sandwich construction.

The control console is arranged near amidships with 3 high vibration absorption operator seats, and the seats for passengers are saddle and hydraulic type, to up grade the operation ability at high sea.

The navigation equipment includes radar, echo sounder, GPS, and compass. The communication equipment includes UHF, VHF, and HF SSB.

The propulsion system composed of two MAN main engines with ZF360 reduction gears, and two FF375s waterjets. The electric power system is supplied by DC power.
